Pre娆ф床鏉�鍐宠禌sident Lu Fucai Attending Our Supervisor Seminar for “UP Program”

On 娆ф床鏉�绔炵寽the morning of May 6, the International College held the 4^th supervisor seminar for 鈥淯P Program鈥� 娆ф床鏉�鎶曟敞in 2018, and President of JUFE Lu Fucai attended and guided the seminar. Dean of the Inter娆ф床鏉�鍐宠禌national College Yang Hui, Secretary of Party Committee Tu Yan, Deputy Secretary of Party 娆ф床鏉�鍐犱簹鍐汣ommittee Xia Xianfeng and UP supervisors of Grade 2015 and Grade 2016 of the Internationa娆ф床鏉�姣斿垎l College jointly attended the seminar.

The 鈥淯P Program鈥� of the International College is a platform for college娆ф床鏉�绔炵寽 students’ quality improvement and innovative practice education built by the Interna娆ф床鏉�璧涗簨tional College by virtue of social forces. By means of hiring successful professionals in娆ф床鏉�姣斿垎 workplace to be supervisors, boost the college students’ growth by supervisors&rsqu娆ф床鏉�鍐犱簹鍐沷; personal example and verbal instruction. In order to highlight the cultivation of UP pr娆ф床鏉�鎶曟敞ogram for college students’ 鈥淚nnovative Thinking鈥� and 鈥淚nnovation Ability鈥�, the UP s娆ф床鏉�鎶曟敞upervisor seminar was themed by 鈥渋nheritance and innovation鈥�. The seminar started with suc娆ф床鏉�绔炵寽h two films as Inheritance on the Fingertip鈥擟lay Figure Zhang and Road of Innovation, and debated on that 鈥渋nnovate must be b娆ф床鏉�姣斿垎ased on tradition鈥�. Supervisors cited various authorities, demonstrated different opinions娆ф床鏉�璧涗簨, and discussed on the themes of such four phases as 鈥渇lag setting, challenging, ring and 娆ф床鏉�鎶曟敞victory鈥�, having showed supervisor teams’ excellent critical thinking skills and team娆ф床鏉�涔扮悆缃憌ork spirit. Supervisors said that such form of novel teaching seminar had further deepene娆ф床鏉�棰勬祴d the understanding of the concept of 鈥渋nnovation鈥� and strengthened the high recognition 娆ф床鏉�鍐宠禌of UP program.

President Lu Fucai made thorough analysis from two aspects of 鈥渆stablishment an娆ф床鏉�鎶曟敞d overriding鈥�, 鈥渙ffense and defense鈥�, and made a comment on the event. He emphasized that there was no absolute conflict娆ф床鏉�绔炵寽 between innovation and tradition, we need not only innovation based on 鈥済ood tradition鈥�, b娆ф床鏉�鍐宠禌ut also abandoning and breaking 鈥渂ad tradition鈥�.

At the end of the event, President Lu expressed thanks 娆ф床鏉�绔炵寽to all the 鈥淯P supervisors鈥� on behalf of JUFE, and put forward the ardent anticipation of 娆ф床鏉�棰勬祴鈥渃ultivating talents with morality鈥�, 鈥減erfecting personality鈥�, 鈥渄eveloping skills鈥� and 鈥渃o娆ф床鏉�鍐宠禌nsolidating major鈥�. He pointed out that all the 鈥淯P supervisors鈥� should be dedicated to be an example for the students i娆ф床鏉�绔炵寽n terms of ideology and morality, and devoted to building integrated personality, offer st娆ф床鏉�姣斿垎udents guidance for bearing themselves and skill growth, and enrich students’ profes娆ф床鏉�鍐犱簹鍐泂ional knowledge via the combination of professional teaching and practical teaching, and m娆ф床鏉�棰勬祴ake the students critical forces for giving back to society.

Manual for Supervisors of JUFE International 鈥淯P Program鈥� was issued n the event, and flag-giving ceremony was conducted for the rotating activities for娆ф床鏉�鎶曟敞 innovative education research seminar for supervisors of 鈥淯P program鈥�

According to information, the 鈥淯P p娆ф床鏉�鎶曟敞rogram鈥� of the International College has successfully completed 60 session of practical te娆ф床鏉�绔炵寽aching instruction since the launching in October 2016 in the form of group guidance, ente娆ф床鏉�鍐犱簹鍐況prise visit, course lecturing, current politics debating, and etc., involving 3670 people娆ф床鏉�璧涗簨, obtaining enthusiastic response from the students. While students-facing instruction, th娆ф床鏉�绔炵寽e College set up and operated 鈥淯P program innovative education seminar鈥�, broke the ice of 娆ф床鏉�棰勬祴obstructed information communication among supervisors and unbalanced cultivation of stude娆ф床鏉�涔扮悆缃憂ts. It has strengthened the communication among supervisors and between supervisors and s娆ф床鏉�绔炵寽tudents, converting 鈥渟ingle power鈥� as 鈥済roup wisdom鈥�, jointly facilitating the cultivation娆ф床鏉�姣斿垎 of diversified international talents.
